GOING HOME

I love to speak with Leonard

He’s a sportsman and a shepherd

He’s a lazy bastard

Living in a suit

But he does say what I tell him

Even though it isn’t welcome

He will never have the freedom

To refuse

He will speak these words of wisdom

Like a sage, a man of vision

Though he knows he’s really nothing

But the brief elaboration of a tube

Going home

Without my sorrow

Sometime tomorrow

To where it’s better

Than before

Behind the curtain

More Gigs

El motivo original del mi periplo británico es la mejora de mi inglés. Este primer objetivo comparte protagonismo con el tiempo que voy a dedicar a conocer Londres y a la música.

En los preparativos del tiempo que voy a dedicar a enriquecer mi bagaje musical ando enredado.

A los ya confirmados conciertos de Dean Wareham (repasando creaciones de Galaxy 500), Bill Callahan, The Antlers y M Ward sumo esta tarde el de The Leisure Society, banda a la que llegué hace un par de años vía "The Sleeper" (Willkommen Records, 2009). La banda de Nick Hemming estará en Rough Trade el 2 de Mayo, (gratis!!!)  y el 02/05 en Union Chapel.
